Methodology
4SH-CDM is an operational framework which focuses on end results:
- Based on superior technical expertise
- Focused on activities generating rich content
- Tailored to software development activities
4SH-CDM is a rigorous, proven approach to easily create, develop and upgrade software applications. It identifies business needs and models the content and design in a result- and process-oriented framework.
Our framework
Customized Development Method is the core method for 4SH framework. It manages the full product life cycle and is organized in 4 steps :
- Discover : The initial step gives the organization the opportunity to define technical specifications and business needs, and conceptualize the development of the product. This creative effort challenges the future product and identifies its competition.
- Design : Workshops with 4SH and the client are essential to define the content and behavior of the selected concept out of numerous tests and prototypes. The technical team identifies and validates the design, architecture and development steps of the project.
- Develop : Planning of the development must be carefully executed and controlled by a senior integration architect.
- Deploy : This phase leads to the validation and automation of the product, together with the delivery of documentation and procedures.
4SH method and the segmentation of the development process into basic steps give the customer the ability to operate and monitor the product development along a careful planning of milestones and tests.
The global cohesiveness consistency is reinforced by transverse themes:
- Business processes are defined during the DISCOVER phase and used to control the end results of the project
- Interfaces and user-friendly designs are developed progressively through the DESIGN and DEVELOP phases
- Technical architectures support the flexibility and modularity of the product
- Performance is essential and influences the architecture and modules of the product
- Tests and automation prepare the product's marketing and distribution
